As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Sojourn relies on contributions and community partnerships to make our mission-based programming possible.

BUILT was commissioned by the South Waterfront Artist in Residence (AiR) Program, Sept/07-Sept/08, as part of its Monthly Guest Artist Series, and is the 13th and final project in the presenting cycle. The AiR Program is sponsored by Williams & Dame Development and Gerding Edlen Development, with special support from Realty Trust.

The research, development, and production of BUILT in Chicago, Hartford, and Portland have also been supported, in part, by: The Boeing Company; Dayton Foundation; Flintridge Foundation; Multnomah County Cultural Coalition; a grant from the Oregon Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency; numerous individual contributors; and in-kind sponsors including Hartbeat Ensemble, Lewis & Clark College Graduate School of Education, Northwestern University’s School of Communication, PICA, and the South Waterfront Artist in Residence (AiR) Program.
